"Umma Devi" is a liar, said more than 150,000 tests when actual figure is less than 40,000.

It has been roughly six months passed since the first Corona infected Sri Lankan identified within Sr Lanka. We heard this same promises from different government officers during their speeches to the media. Promises and advice to increase the number of PCR testing per day from 600 to 5000 were received a long time before. The bitter truth is we could not even reach the level of 1000 PCR testing per day. One of the testing laboratories contributed their maximum support for this now refrain from providing their services due to pathetic political expectation executed by officials from government. If there was a so-called issue or lack of reliability in their testing, they should have taken necessary action to correct them and get their valuable service during this kind of pandemic. When others trying to find ways to expand their capacity and strengths to find against the biggest threat to humankind, we are still struggling with political and personal goals.
