Very very good decision. It is an one of the inefficient essential sservices in Sri Lanka. But it shall not be like the way that the present process of privatisation of buses.

Not only railways all the commercial undertakings owned by government should be privatized. Due to inefficiency and corruptions in those undertakings incurre huge losses annually. It becomes burden to the public. Say in case of Air Lanka people who have not seen air ports even has to pay taxes even on the food item purchased by them to make good the loses. In private sector profit is the target. Let them also target for profits.

ඉතාමත්ම හොද ක්‍රියාවක්. මෙය කල යුතුමයි. එදා ටෙලිකොම් එකත් අර්ධ රාජ්‍ය කෙරුව නිසා අද ලංකාවේ ප්‍රමුඛ සංනිවේදන ජාලයක් වෙලා. මේ රජය යටතේ මේ දේවල් ගොඩ නොආවොත්, ආයේ මේ කපේට බැ.

Recently a train guard had forgotten his bag. Train was delayed for 40Mins until this clown got down his bag. What else do we need unless sacking all these old hags and bring in new energy

This idea was floated many times, and nothing came to fruition. Just imagine all the assets and liabilities that has to be transferred to that company.

ඉතා හොඳ තීරණයක්. එහෙත් වර්තමානයට වඩා ගුණාත්මක සේවයක් වන්නේ නම් ඉතා වැදගත්. ඒවා ලාබදායී ආදායම් ලබන තත්වයට රැගෙන එනවා නම් ඉතා හොඳයි. රජය තියාගත්තත් තෙල් විතරක් නෙවෙයි එළවළු පලතුරු වගේ දේවලුත් රටපුරා ප්‍රවාහනය කරන්න පුළුවන්. එතකොට වාහන තදබදය තවත් අඩු වේවි .
