ජනපති මෛත්‍රීපාල සිරිසේන මහතා පාර්ලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැරීමට අදාළව නිකුත් කළ ගැසට් නිවේදනයට එරෙහිව අතුරු තහනම් නියෝගයක් ලබාදීමට ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨාධිකරණය කටයුතු කළේය.
එම තීන්දුවත් සමගින් එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂ ආධාරකරුවන් ප්‍රීති ඝෝෂා නැගීය. එසේම අධිකරණ සංකිර්ණයේ ආරක්ෂාවද තරකර තිබුණි.

Hey hey hey, don’t jump too high, ok. We are still alive. Don’t think this is a victory for UNP because it is not. SC has step forward to strengthen people’s rights and Parliamentary democracy which had been undermined by the President. ---- As I said many times, you ALL will be sent home at the next democratic election scheduled to be in 2020. This is your last Parliament. We are not done yet, ok. Former President and the JO will bounce back sooner than your think. Therefore stay grounded, ok.
