Cabral is not an economist. He is only an accountant. It is obviously visible that he had ensured wish and will of Rajapaksaka not the wish and will of the nation. Central Bank governor appointment must be set out of politics. Cabral is not a qualified person to handle central bank as he lacks overall knowledge. Central Bank governor appointment needs to have depth knowledge on national economy, financial systems including international, Government policies, Accounting systems, Financial Needs of the public, banking systems, International affairs, Auditing, Foreign policy, and more than anything else honesty, integrity and common sense. It was amply displayed by him that he is not fit to hold that appointment.By appointing him to this post not only he failed but he has put country and 22 million people into great trouble.
