පෙබරවාරි මස 7 දා පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබූ ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් ආයතනයේ නිලවරණය තවදුරටත් කල් යන ලකුණු පහළ වී තිබේ.
ක්‍රීඩා අමාත්‍ය හරීන් ප්‍රනාන්දු මහතා නිකුත් කළ ට්විටර් නිවේදනයකින් මේ බව තහවුරු වී තිබේ. ඔහු පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ නිලවරණය පැවැත්වීමට ඇති හැකියාවන් පිළිබඳව තමන් සලකා බැලූ නමුත් අවාසනාවකට 2018/09/22 දා නිකුත් කළ අංක 2089/56 ගැසට් නිවේදනය අනුව නීති ගැටලුවක් පැන නැගී ඇති බවයි.
මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් තමන් නීතිපතිවරයාගේ අදහස් ලබා ගන්නා බවත් එහි මතය පැමිණි විට තමන් ක්‍රිකට් නිලවරණය පැවැත්වීමට ක්‍රියා කරන බවයි.

Specially in appointing the election "Appeal Committee". Therefore I am seeking legal advice from Attorney General's Department. Ones the opinion is sorted, I will take necessary steps to conduct Sri Lanka Cricket Elections 2/2
